Happy Birthday Hannah

Today is our eldest daughter's birthday and this is the card I made and sent her

My inspiration for this card came from this one I found here although I used Spellbinders nestabilities die and different papers although they are still from Stampin' Up. The ribbon from my stash I dyed with my inked so it matched the papers and the sentiment. The flowers were some I also had in my stash that toned in with the papers. Unfortunately we won't be spending any time with our daughter to celebrate her birthday as she lives many miles away in Canada but hopefully we will get to speak to her at some point today.

3rd Wedding Anniversary

Today is our daughters third Wedding Anniversary! where does the time go? it really doesn't seem like 3 years since we were out in Toronto with them to celebrate a wonderful day. Such happy memories of a beautiful and very special day made especially so as Stephen officiated at the ceremony and I walked her down the aisle and our other daughter was her bridesmaid.

This is the card I made for them

Another Birthday card

It was our Son in Law's birthday yesterday but due to the large distance from us to them ( they live in Canada) we weren't able to be together to celebrate his birthday but this is the card I sent him. Ive kept this one Clean and Simple too as I didn't want to make it too heavy for posting.

This is what I made him

Birthday Card

Today is my Father in Laws birthday and I have made this card for him

The papers and most of the embellishments for this card came from freebies in Papercraft Inspirations magazine. The twine and brad are from my stash.

Fathers' Day

It will soon be Father's Day here in the UK and this is the card I have made for Stephen's Dad. Unfortunately I can't remember where I got the papers and tag from that I used for this card so I can't give appropriate credit so if anyone knows where they are from and can tell me I will be very grateful so that I can give credit where it is dew

Journal 52 weeks 20 & 21

I'm falling behind with my journal 52 pages as life has been very busy recently but I'm determined to keep up so here are my next 2 pages.
For week 20 the theme was Good Advice
I've been given lots of good advice over the years of my life and I found it hard to put this advice into specific words so I found some quotes on the internet that i felt summed up the essence of some of the advice I've been given over the years and this is my page

For week 21 the prompt was Top 10 Lists, I didn't find this one all that easy as I'm not a great list maker although I keep thinking I should use lists a lot more than I do. The one time I do make lists though is when we are about to go on holiday. This harks back to when our girls were small, we went camping and we didn't have much money. At that time it was imperative that we didn't forget anything as we didn't have the spare cash to go out and buy replacements, times have changed, the girls are grown up now and have fledged the nest and money isn't such a big issue but I do still make lists when its time to think about our holidays. My page isn't finished as it still looks rather bare but these are some of my lists
