More Christmas Cards and some ATCs

I had fun crafting yesterday afternoon and with nothing particularly in mind I came up with these two Christmas cards

I have also just realised I didn't upload the pictures of my ATCs for the alphabet swap over on the magical crafts forum so here they are

Magical crafts second challenge

I just want to say a big thank you to all those of you who entered our first challenge over the last fortnight as do Angel and Joanne and the rest of the DT.

For the second challenge we have a recipe to follow

RECIPE, Any colour, and you need to include something that sparkles, a ribbon, a christmas flower and santa or snowman on your design..

Another Christmas card

I have made another Christmas card this afternoon, this time for the challenge on the creationsbyjj forum. This month you have to follow a sketch

This is how i have interpreted it

I have also made a couple of birthday cards, one is for a friends grand daughter and the other is just to have in because I was practicing with my pro markers. I have used them to colour both cards but i need some more practice yet

Christmas Cards

I have made a couple of Christmas cards this week and finished some ATCs for some swaps. The ATCs will have to wait until another day as I need some daylight to take pictures but I can show you my Christmas cards.

The first one is for the weekly Christmas card challenge over on the Magical Crafts forum (link on my side bar) This week it had to include trees, why don't you go along and join in, joining the forum is simple and everyone is very friendly.

The second card I have made is using some backing papers form June at Dezinaworld one from the green and red collection and one from the gold collection both for Christmas. The Robin is a download from papercraft creations I think

Magical Crafts first Challenge

The first challenge on the Magical Crafts Fortnightly Challenge Blog is now up and running.

There is a little twist on this the first challenge , we would like you to make 2 things

The first one is.... a christmas ornament, colour theme of red, green, gold.

and the second one is... a christmas card, colour theme also red, green, gold.

You don't have to enter both challenges of course but if you do you will get 2 entries for the prizes if you only enter one of the challenges then you will get 1 entry for the prizes.

Only a few hours left......

Yes it's not long now until the first challenge will be launched on the Magical Crafts Fortnightly Challenge Blog. The first challenge will appear at 10am tomorrow and then at the same time every fortnight. I can't wait to show you my makes for this weeks challenge, all the DT have been busy making some amazing things for the launch, they are all very talented ladies but you will have to wait until tomorrow to see what everyone has made. What a lovely surprise I got today I have received two lovely blog awards thank you both for thinking about me and giving me these lovely awards. You are both very generous and thoughtful

This second award requires that I tell you five things about myself and then to pass it on to five other people so here goes with the five things about me

1) My family is very important to me

2) I love all things crafty and wish I didn't have to go to work so I could have more time to craft

3)  I hate having to do the housework when I want to be crafting

4) I love to collect crafty stash and have loads of stuff in my craft room that I will get round to using one day

5) My favourite craft is my card making as I can really loose myself in it and find it very relaxing

I now have to pass this award on to five more people and as some of you know I am really bad at passing on awards as I always find it so hard to know who to pass them on too. In this case I would like to pass both these awards on to those of you who regularly stop by and leave me lovely comments on here. Not long now

It's not long now to the launch of the Magical Crafts fortnightly challenge blog why don't you go on over and sign up as a follower to keep up with what is happening and the launch of the first challenge, the link is on my side bar. i've been busy making my first DT makes but you will have to wait a few more days before you can see them so I'll keep you guessing as to what the first challenge will be.

Birthday card

This is the card I have made for a colleague at work whose birthday is in a couple of weeks, I needed to get it done this weekend so it can be passed round at work for everyone to sign.

I also made these 2 ATCs for the swap over on the magical crafts forum, you can go there from the link in my sidebar

As you might have guessed the theme for this swap is cats and dogs
