Bow Knot Scarf

Ive been seeing a lot of these scarves around on Instagram made by the lovely

so I decided to have a go at making one myself. A quick google search found me a few patterns and so I was able to go ahead and make one of these scarves. In fact I have made two now, the first one I gave to my friend as a small gift and the second one I am keeping for myself

Last Saturday was my last card club meeting here in Theydon Bois before we move house and go back up to Yorkshire. The day is looming ever closer and this will probably be my last post until after the big move and we are all settled and have our internet sorted.
At the class Ann was our inspirer and we made two lovely cards

In the afternoon we always take our own cards to make and I made the next two cards. The first was inspired by Fran when she taught a class which unfortunately I missed but i was lucky enough to be given all that I needed to make this card and the second was made using up some scraps from my box The last card is one I made earlier in the month for my friend whose birthday was at the start of January but that I realised I hadn't yet shared on here

Blanket ta dah

Although we are busy getting ready for our move I have managed some time for some crochet in an evening. This means I have finished my crochet blanket that I started last year. It's inspired by Lucy from Attic24 and its her pattern that I have used but the colour choices are my own .

An Explanation

I want to wish all my followers a

I also feel that I owe you all an explanation for my lack of blogging recently and that is that we are moving at the very begging of February. We are returning to Yorkshire which is where we are both from and also it takes us much closer to our parents as they reach their eighties and need more support. Stephen got the chance of a job just outside Malton and after much careful consideration we decided that it was right for us to make the move.

Much of my craft stash has been packed away so blogging will be sporadic until after the move and we are settled and I have my new craft room all sorted. I am now on instagram though and will be sharing there as I record our move. there is a link to my histogram in my sidebar. I hope you will all understand and bare with me during this process.

I'd also like to thank you all for your support and lovely comments over the last 12 months and hers's to the next.

More Christmas cards

Good morning everyone, I hope you are all managing to stay warm on this cold and frosty morning.
I managed to get some time to craft over the weekend and I think I have finished all my Christmas cards now. These are the last ones I have made.
This first one is for my Great - Nephew and is made from a downloadable sheet from Craftsuprint. At least I think that is where I bought it from but if anyone knows differently please let me know so I can credit the correct source.

This next one I have made from a die cut a friend gave me
