ATC swap
Over on Ali's blog Very Berry she is hosting a sewn/embroidered ATC swap. We have been assigned our swap partners and everyone os busy making their ATCs ready to swap next month. It's a secret swap so although we know who we are sending to the recipient won't know who has made their ATC until it arrives in the post. To help us make our ATCs we have been given some information about our partner and we are asked to give progress reports although this isn't compulsory. Anyway this is my ATC so far
I just hope my partner likes it as Ive not done an embroidered ATC before

This first one is clean and simple
This second one caused me to get very inky as for the background I played with my new distress stains and paints

May Pages
These are my calendar journal pages for May, they aren't finished yet I think some more doodling will be added as the month goes on but this is as far as I have got. I decided to go for a monochrome look this month and also to put the days randomly across the pages. Its a bit of an experiment to see if this way of numbering works or if it just ends up being messy. You never know though unless you try it. Im sorry the photo doesn't show up very well, It's better if you click to enlarge it

May Quintiles
Over at Chocolate Baroque its time for the next months quintiles for the swap, the theme this time is Chelsea Flower show and I have opted to use my favourite summer flower for this. The rose is from the Rose Stem Script stamp by Chocolate Baroque stamped in versafine ink and coloured with my polychromos pencils. The background for the rose is victorian velvet distress stain. The quintile is done with Crafty Individuals Springtime BP stamped with Chocolate Baroque Fragrant Honeysuckle and embossed with silver EP

This week has been busy so I have been having some relaxing crafty time just doing some colouring, I have used a digi image from http://dragonsmoore.blogspot.co.uk which i love and its hedgehog in flowerpot. Do please go visit Lyn's blog as she has some wonderful digis for sale. If you follow her other blog Spyders Corner there are sometimes freebie digis on offer
The first card i have coloured using my pro markers and the second card I have coloured using my polychromo pencils. The cards and backing papers are from my scraps box, I keep trying to use some of my scraps but the pile never seems to get any smaller lol

Tag
This is a tag I made inspired by the new Mojo Monday ideas sheet from Glenda Waterworth of Chocolate Baroque
The inspiration was to make a background by creating a pattern by repeat stamping

April quintiles
Over on the Chocolate Baroque Ning site we have a monthly quintile swap going and this month I found especially difficult as the theme was April Fool. The aim is to use some or all products from Chocolate Baroque to make our tiles with.
One of the reasons I struggled with this months theme so much was that I didn't have any suitable Chocolate Baroque stamps to use but then I realised that if I used backing papers and the cor'dinations card both of which I purchased from Chocolate Baroque I could use the miniature playing cards from Christmas cracker as my focal point.
